The question of how to make the tax system easier to use will be discussed at the next Haverhill Chamber of Commerce Last Friday Networking Breakfast.

The event takes place from 7.45am to 9am at Samuel Ward Academy, in Chalkstone Way, on May 30.

Guest speakers Tim Voak, a retired tax director from Tesco and Caroline Turnbull-Hall, from the Office of Tax Simplification (OTS), will talk about the work OTS has done so far and invite ideas on how to make the tax system easier to use. Issues covered will include corporation tax and payroll.

The event costs £10 plus VAT for Chamber members and £15 plus VAT for guests. A full English breakfast is included.
