Haverhill Library is running a Big Book Quiz over the next few months to help it raise funds and engage better with its users.
The quiz will feature 50 questions, anagrams, cryptic clues relating to famous book titles.
The quiz costs £2 to enter and runs until November 29 with the first prize being a Kindle, the second prize a £25 book token and the third a £10 book token.
The competition is a fund-raising initiative to help support the library and to provide a fun way of engaging better with customers.
The competition is being launched with the help of the new Friends of Haverhill Library Group, which was formed just a few weeks ago with the aim of giving more support to the library and encouraging its continued growth.
The group has had four meetings and has already raised enough money for free Wi-Fi to be installed at the library which should be operational in the near future.
The prizes for the quiz have been obtained thanks to sponsorship by Haverhill Research Park, Suffolk County Council, Havebury Housing, Glassfusion and Gurteens.
The quiz is being launched on Sunday, September 15.
