Theft from car in Newmarket

Police in Newmarket are appealing for witnesses after a car was broken into and a number of items stolen from within.

The incident happened between 8.15pm and 8.30pm on Thursday (December 27) behind the Kingdom Hall in Queens Street.

The silver Renault Megane was broken into and a number of items including a bag, wallet, prescription glasses, Ray Ban sunglasses, torch and credit cards were stolen from within.

Anyone who witnessed this incident is asked to call PC Carl Lawrence at Suffolk Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
