Theft from car in Santon Downham

Police in Mildenhall are appealing for information after a car was broken into and items stolen from within.

The incident happened between 11am and 11.45am yesterday (Thursday, January 3) while a van was parked in a layby near to a field farm access at Santon Downham near Brandon.

The white Vauxhall Combo van was broken into and a handbag containing cash, credit cards and a pair of glasses and a sat nav were stolen from within.

If you were in the area and saw any suspicious activity and have any information in relation to this incident you are asked to call Pc Neil van-Holland at Mildenhall Police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
