The Tour de France trophy will be in Sawston tomorrow (Wednesday, March 5) ahead of the cycling tournament coming through the village in June.
The official Grand Départ trophy was at Sawston Village College (SVC), where schoolchildren and fellow primary school students saw it as part of a week-long tour of the county celebrating the area hosing the event
On July 7 the Tour de France will head out of Cambridge on Trumpington Road, taking the A1301 through South Cambridgeshire before heading to Saffron Walden and through Essex to London to finish on The Mall in front of Buckingham Palace.
Schoolchildren will have a chance to get close to the famous trophy during the event at SVC and members of the public can also come along between 8.50am to 9.50am, 11.40am to 12.10pm, and 12.40pm to 1.10pm.
