Two vehicle crash on A1307 at Horseheath

Three fire crews attended a crash on the A1307 at Horseheath at around 7.10am today (Monday, February 11).

One crew from Linton,one from Haverhill and a rescue vehicle from Cambridge were called to the crash, which involved two vehicles.

Firefighters used specialist cutting equipment to release one person who was trapped in their vehicle.

Crews had returned to their bases by 8.10am.

A steering group has recently been established to improve the A1307 in the wake on the number of accidents on the road.
