Linton Zoo is appealing for you to donate your Christmas tree to be used as a decoration for enclisures, toy for the animals or even fuel.
Live rooted trees can be planted in enclosures, and tress without roots can enrich the lives of animals such as the lions, who love playing with them.
Once cut and dried the trees can be used in the bio burner to help heat the zoo and provide hot water through the winter.
If the zoo is closed trees can be left at the front gate or driveway.
