Members of the public are invited to attend the next meeting of the community engagement group (CEG) of the NHS West Suffolk Clinical Commissioning Group.

The meeting will take place on Thursday, July 17 at Haverhill Arts Centre from 2.30 to 5 pm.

Members of the community engagement group play a vital role in working with the CCG to ensure patient and public views are listened to and that local people have a real say in shaping healthcare services in west Suffolk.

The group will discuss set agenda items which will include Feedback on the recent WSCCG Patient Revolution conference, the WSCCG Annual Report and Accounts 2013/14

Anne Nicholls, chairman of the CEG said: “The community engagement group both informs and influences the decision and planning process for health services in west Suffolk.

“It is important that people give their views so that the CCG can commission the right health services which meet the needs of local people.”

The papers for the meeting can be viewed online one week before the meeting at http://www.westsuffolkccg.nhs.uk/get-involved/community-engagement-group/
