The White Horse Inn in Withersfield will be holding a Family Fun Day in aid of the Suffolk Accident Rescue Service (SARS), as it did last year, on Sunday, August 24.

The event which runs from midday until late will see seven local bands perform, including an ACDC tribute band with an age range starting at nine years old.

Cambridgeshire outfit, Van Gogh’s Ear will be headlining the event.

Admission cost £5 and includes either fish and chips provided by Chippy’s of Haverhill or a barbecue option.

The whole event is in aid of SARS whose specialist volunteer doctors and paramedics respond to serious or life-threatening incidents around Suffolk and its borders.

All SARS members volunteer their time and expertise without charge and the charity receives no government funding and relies on voluntary donations to maintain it service.
