YMCA has moved back on to Haverhill High Street.
The charity did have a store where Poundland now is from September 2011 to June 2012, and has now moved in beside Henderson’s news agents, where men’s clothing shop @itude once was.
The charity is appealing for donations, particularly furniture, which it can collect for free.
Volunteers would also be welcome to join manager Angela Fordrey and assistant manager Angela Jenkins.
“We are after donations of furniture, which is our main thing, but we also do bric-a-brac, electronics, clothing, books, DVDs and more,” said Ms Fordrey.
“We’re also looking for volunteers.
“We always wanted to stay in the town but when Poundland got hold of the lease we couldn’t hold on to it so had to look for another premises.”
