Talented Linton Village College (LVC) pupils will take to the stage for their latest performance, the popular musical ‘Little Shop of Horrors’.
Head of drama and director Laura Cassidy said: “LVC’s cast and crew have been rehearsing their annual show since the start of September and they have created a highly polished comedy horror rock musical.”
A nerdy florist shop worker (played by Tom Murray) raises a plant (the lead voice played by Zoe Reyes) that feeds on human blood and flesh.
The music is in the style of early 1960s rock and roll, doo-wop and early Motown and features several well-known tunes, including the title song, ‘Skid Row (Downtown)’, ‘Somewhere That’s Green, and ‘Suddenly, Seymour’.
The cast, orchestra and production team consists of over 100 students and members of staff.
Tickets are still available for next Friday (March 14) and Saturday (March 15) at 7.30pm.
Tickets can be bought from LVC reception at £8 for adults and £6 for children/concessions or by calling 01223 891233.
