Friends of East Town Park volunteers and park rangers invited councillors Tony Brown, Margaret Marks (on behalf of the late Cllr Tim Marks) Julian Flood and Tony Burns, to see a new woodland workshop that has been opened at park in Coupals Road, Haverhill.

The workshop has been erected as the result of a two year project and is part of a long term regeneration of an old Ozier Willow coppice, which is what remains of a extensive cottage industry in the area up to the 1960s.

Funding for the building came from the councillors and from St Edmundsbury Borough Council.
