West Suffolk College is to host its first jobs fair on A-level results day with a wealth of companies taking part.
The fair on Thursday, August 18 from 11am to 2.30pm is open to anyone looking for work and copies of CVs can be handed to prospective employers.
Among the companies taking part who will all have jobs to offer are Lloyds Bank, Greene King, Servest, Sodexo, St Edmundsbury Borough Council, NHS - West Suffolk CCG, The Chestnut Group and Carefirst Care Services.
There will be CV writing and interview tips from the college’s careers advice team, the chance to apply for full time and part time jobs as well as numereous apprenticeship opportunities.
Phil Stittle, director of business development at West Suffolk College, said: “The event is to try to ensure people in the local area have a chance to engage with organisations in terms of current job opportunities and for those who have just received their results to speak with our experts about their next steps.”
