HAVERHILL Rovers' new manager Peter Betts has secured the signatures of four more players to join him at Hamlet Croft.
After the signing of Shaun Banham proved to be successful, with the striker scoring on Saturday, Betts has moved to make Sam Green, Louis Harper, James Walker and Dan Marshall Rovers players.

Striker Walker is the only one of those who will be ava
ilable for tonight's Ridgeons League Premier Division clash at Mildenhall Town.

He signed from Newmarket Town, where he scored 11 goals in seven Kershaw Premier League games for their reserves after falling out of favour with the first team.

Midfielder Marshall joins him from the Jockeys but won't be available until the home match with Needham Market on December 13 because of work commitments.

Green, who also plays in midfield, is well known to Reds fans having played at Hamlet Croft before going travelling six months ago.

Having just returned from travelling it is likely that Green will have a couple of games in the reserves to improve his match sharpness.

He scored 19 goals in 111 games during his previous spells at Haverhill.

Attacking option Harper has joined from Wivenhoe Town and will be in the squad for Saturday's trip to Wroxham.

Betts also welcomes defenders Jim Hollingsworth and Neil Hammond back for tonight's game with Mildenhall while key midfielders Joe Harvey and Marc Abbott are two and three weeks away respectively from a return after injury.

n Find out how Rovers got on at Mildenhall and listen to Betts' reaction to the result after 11.30pm tonight.
