HAVERHILL came from 12 points behind to win their second Eastern Counties Rugby League match of the season on Saturday and after just three matches now have double the number of victories they gained in the whole of last season.
Club coach Andy Price has instilled a new belief in his side and that shone through on Saturday as Haverhill recovered from a disastrous start to win 20-15 at Dereham.

The coach praised his players for taking work from training into a match situation Dereham at the weekend.

"The first 20 minutes were not good," said Price. "We weren't there and probably weren't quite organised when we got there so we started slowly and gave them a good lead.

"But it showed a lot of character (to come back) and there's more belief coming into the side and they believe that they can win."

"Our penalty count was down by a huge amount which made a real difference."

Haverhill host Lakenham Hewett at School Lane on Saturday. Kick-off is at 3pm.
