Haverhill were boosted in their fight to avoid relegation from the league after Bourne II exited the league on Friday.
The East Womean's League website said their exit was because 'there are not sufficient resources to complete the fixture list', meaning Haverhill must now just avoid a bottom placed finish to beat the drop.

Haverhill already have a four point lead over now bottom Spalding, and they also have two games in hand over them and the team two points above them, City of Peterborough II.

Though one of their games in away to second placed Pelicans, the other is at home to fourth places Ely, and just two points from those fixtures could see them rise above City of Peterborough.
