HUNDON Carpet Bowls Club have had an extremely successful season, winning a number of trophies along the way.
The most notable achieve-ment by the team was winning Suffolk Division Two West with ten wins from ten matches, before defeating the Division Two East champions in the East v West play-off final.
Hundon's magnificent season in the Suffolk League was completed with victory in the Joe Rice Knockout Cup.
They also finished fifth in the Bury Premier League, 48 points behind champions Brockley but three places and 11 points ahead of rivals Withersfield.
Ann Hathaway and Ray Penhaligon were victorious in the Bury Knockout Cup pairs' competition for the second time in the last three years.
Hathaway was one of four Hundon players to represent Suffolk as well, along with Ellen Grube, Andrew Cooper and Ralph Sadgrove.
