HAVERHILL Rovers chairman Steve Brown has described new manager Larry Billings as the man to take the club forward.
Mr Brown was part of a three-man interview panel that gave Billings the job last week.

The new boss will be introduced to the players tonight (Tuesday) and to anyone attending Thursday's annual meeting.

"He's going to be right for the club as a whole," said Mr Brown. "He's keen to fund raise so hopefully he is the whole thing that we want but the proof of the pudding is in the eating of it.

"I think he's the man to take us forward at the pace that Haverhill Rovers will go at."
