A Haverhill boy won a table tennis tournament for the third consecutive year on Saturday.
Rhys Davies, 14, who studies at Castle Manor Business and Enterprise Collage, made it a hat-trick of cadet titles at the Cambridge and District League Invitation Tournament.

He cruised to the final of the competition, held at the Soham TT Centre,
where he fell a game behind to fast-paced attacker Harris Ryder before storming back to win the next three games and the match.

Rhys said he was 'very pleased' with his achievement, and is looking forward to competing in the juniors age group of 15 to 18-year-olds next year.

"I think next year will obviously be a higher standard but I'm really looking forward to it as it will be a tough competition", he said.

"I'm relishing the challenge and looking forward to it all."
