HAVERHILL under 14s have been crowned Halstead and District Tennis League champions.
The team lost just one game in the league, finishing two points clear.

Harry Sendall filled in at a vital time when Joshua Towers and Tristram Walsh were unavailable for the last game of the season during which Harry helped the team to a hard-earned victory over Lavenham.

In the same fixture Ross Tobin and Rachel Jeffs came from 5-2 down in games to win an epic tie-break 14-12 on points and with it secure the league title.
