FIFTEEN teams battled it out on September 19 in the annual Sturmer Charity Classic at Haverhill Golf Club.
More than £1,870 was raised for Sturmer Village Hall after the golf tournament and carvery supper.

June & His 4 Heartbeats, consisting of Ian Johnson, Paul Archer, Pat Dorsett and Phil Waping won the tournament. Vikki Jones hit the ladies' longest drive, Nick Markwell hit the men's longest drive while Eric Bates won the closest to the pin competition and Peter Owen won the putting competition.
