HSA and Rovers make it a great day for Haverhill

Haverhill Sports Association will find out later this morning (Monday) who they face in the third round of the FA Vase after their thrilling 2-1 victory over Dereham Town on Saturday.

A 93rd minute volley by Matt Clarke settled the match and prevented the possibility of extra time.

Harry Halls had put HSA ahead from the penalty spot on 62 minutes.

Dereham substitute Scott Sutherland-Gray was sent off two minutes later before the Norfolk side levelled on 66 minutes through a Craig Bussens header, only for Clarke to send the new Croft into raptures of delight with his late winner.

In the Thurlow Nunn League Premier Division a solitary goal from Marc Abbott was enough to earn Haverhill Rovers a 1-0 victory at Norwich United.
