Chalkstone Karate Club’s latest grading examinations yielded several new belts for members.

Chalkstone Karate Club’s latest grading examinations yielded several new belts for members.

Danny Ward, James Martinez, Shaun Roberts, Kartikaa Parthipan, Stephen Parish ,Aiden Parish were awarded 8th Kyu orange belt.

Thomas Baugh received 7th Kyu yellow belt, Kirsty Sparrow 6th Kyu green belt, while also winning were Beryl Kicks (5th Kyu purple belt), Finley Sparrow, Kathiravan Parthipan (both 4th Kyu blue belt), Nicky Coulter (3rd Kyu bwon belt), Colin Kicks and Marie Kicks (1st Kyu brown belt with two red stripes).

Colin and Marie are preparing for their black belt grading.

The club meets on Tuesdays (7pm) at Chalkstone Community Centre.
