Haverhill’s momentum is blunted

Haverhill saw their recent resurgence blunted as Saturday’s home game against mid table East London was postponed.

After nine defeats, the ladies had won one and drawn one with four home fixtures to follow.

They next host fellow strugglers Stevenage on December 15 in the final game of 2012 knowing a win could steer them clear of the drop zone.

Haverhill II drew 1-1 at seventh placed Castaways on Saturday (December 1) to stay third from bottom and host fifth placed Grasshoppers on December 15.
