Here is a round-up in pictures of some of the sporting highlights of 2007.
It was the year Haverhill Rovers finally won promotion back to the Ridgeon's Premier League, as well as the First Division Knockout Cup, and had another good run in the FA Cup.
Racing driver Gary Paffett and wheelchair basketball star Caroline MacLean continuied to perform well at international level.
Highlight of the summer was the visit of the former test stars of Lashings to Haverhill Cricket Club and the club also won promotion for the second year running.
