A wave of pink swept through the grounds of a country estate as 110 women took on a charity walk to help beat breast cancer.
Dressed to impress in an array of colourful costumes, the ladies raised more than £5,000 for Suffolk Breast Cancer Now through the Walk on the Westside event.
They enjoyed a four or 11 mile walk around the grounds of Ickworth, in Horringer, with chocolate and water stops along the way.
The most eye-catching outfits scooped a number of accolades with a team sporting ‘11*’ costumes and hand knitted pink moustaches winning the coveted best dressed team prize.
Laura Hudson, chairman of Suffolk Breast Cancer Now, urged walkers to be vigilant about the disease and spoke about the importance of TLC - touch, look and check.
The event has been organised by Bury St Edmunds fund-raisers Teamtutu under the watchful eye of Bonk Tasker.
She thanked their main sponsors including Albany Interiors Ltd, Ickworth Hotel, Michael Knoux-Johnson and his team, the National Trust and local businesses which provided prizes for the raffle.
She added: “We are so grateful for all the continued support we receive - their donations help us create a truly memorable day.”
