Haverhill man dies eight days after car crash

A Haverhill man died from his injuries eight days after being involved in a car accident in a Cambridgeshire village.

Leyton George, aged 20, of Cramswell Close, was driving a silver Ford KA along Fox Road in Balsham on Sunday, July 22 when it left the road and overturned at about 1pm.

He was taken to Addenbrooke’s Hospital in Cambridge having suffered serious injuries but died on Monday, July 30.

Anyone who witnessed the collision should contact the Road Policing Unit on 101.
