Appeal as man performs ‘lewd’ act in Haverhill

Police are appealing for information after a man was seen performing a lewd act in Haverhill.

The incident occured between 3pm and 5pm on Saturday, August 8. A man was seen acting inappropriately in the cemetery on Withersfield Road, before leaving in the direction of Broadcroft Crescent.

The man is described as having a tanned complexion or possibly of mixed race, aged between his late forties and early fifties, between 5ft 9in and 5ft 11in tall, balding with black hair at the sides, wearing a dark top and trousers, brown leather-type jacket and blue trainers.

Anyone who may have witnessed the incident, or who has any information in relation to it, is asked to contact Haverhill Safer Neighbourhood Team on 101 quoting reference HH/15/2007, or Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
