Appeal for help after mountain bike theft in Haverhill

A thief walked out of a local branch of Halfords with a mountain bike on a busy shopping day.

The stolen bike, a black and yellow Voodoo Bizango mountain bike, was taken from the shop in Park Road at 5.30pm on March 2.

The bike was stolen from the shop along with a pair of head-phones and an in-car DVD player.

A white male, about 5ft 10in in height has been identified as a suspect.

The man is described as being in his mid 30s and was wearing a blue baseball cap and a large, dark green anorak.

Police are keen to speak to anyone who may have any information about the person involved in this incident or the whereabouts of the stolen goods. Anyone with information should contact Haverhill police on 101 or Crimestoppers on 0800 555111.
