Arson attack damages cars and buildings in Haverhill

Arsonists damaged a number of cars and buildings in an attack in Haverhill this morning, Wednesday April 6.

The incident took place at around 4am in Chauntry Road, when the fire service were called to reports of three vehicles on fire.

It is believed that one car was deliberately set alight and the blaze then spread to the other two cars.

The fire also damaged the front of three houses, with the heat causing windows in these properties to crack.
