Attempted break-in in Kedington

Police are urging residents to be mindful of security after an attempted break-in in Kedington.

It’s believed an attempt was made to gain entry to a house in King’s Hill between 10pm on Monday, January 5 and 7pm on Wednesday, January 7.

A patio door and window were damaged, and there were signs to suggest that the offender(s) had tried several different ways to break-in.

Police are reminding people to keep windows and doors locked while out, in order to deter would be burglars.

They are also urging anyone with information about the attempted break in to contact PC O’Neill on 101 quoting reference HH/15/52.
