Balsham-based company Quixant UK celebrated victory at a recent charity go karting race.
The event, which was organised by Praesepe Group of Milton Keynes, raised £6,000 for CHIPS, which is a charity that provides specialised powered wheelchairs for young people with severe mobility problems.
A total of 20 teams took part in the race, with Quixant Orange, a team made up of staff from Quixant UK, coming out on top.
“It was a delight to participate in such a rewarding cause, helping to raise funds for CHIPS charity,” said team captain John Malin.
“It is fantastic to know how much happiness this will bring to children with severe mobility problems.”
Linda Lindsay, co-founder of CHIPS, added: “This event was an incredible achievement and we cannot thank everyone who was involved enough.”
