Burglars disturbed during house raid near Haverhill

Detectives are appealing for information after two burglars were disturbed at a house in a village near Haverhill.

The incident took place at around 2.15am on Wednesday 18 November at an address in Thurlow Road, Withersfield.

The resident woke up and found two men on the landing, who they shouted at. The men then ran down the stairs and out of the house. It is not believed that anything was stolen during this incident.

The men are both described as white, around 5ft 7in tall, of medium build and wearing dark-coloured ¾ length coats and trousers and a hat.
