The organiser of Canada’s first tattoo genre film festival and ex-Haverhill resident Mark A Allard is on a mission to raise funds to further promote the event.

Tattoo Arts Film Festival, in Saskatoon, has already attracted a stellar lineup, including award-winning Movies and film festival favourites such as The Skin I’m In, Flake & Flames, You Won’t Regret That Tattoo and many more.

Danish/German Movie Flake & Flames, which has screened at popular film festivals across the USA, Europe and Asia will also see it’s Canadian Premiere at Tattoo Arts Film Festival.

Tattoo Arts Film Festival has also received international press from the likes of the UK’s Total Tattoo Magazine, the USA’s Filmmaking Journal, newspapers across England, VERB and StarPhoenix in Saskatoon and much more.

Since news of TAFF’s inception broke in June 2014 the coverage has helped it to build up a strong and loyal fan base from across Canada, the USA, Scandinavia and the UK.

Mark, who used to work at Haverhill Cineworld before moving to Canada, said: “All of this has happened from hard graft, dedication, volunteering time and the application of prior experience in events management within the cinema industry and contacts gained within press alone.

“To make sure that Tattoo Arts Film Festival can go global to attract the crowd needed to give all the hard working film-makers, directors and artists the attention they rightfully deserve and to make sure that Tattoo Arts Film Festival can have a lasting impact on the flourishing tattoo film niche, we need to ask you to help in funding our campaign to advertise and promote our film and music line up to a national Canadian audience and a global audience alike.”

Individuals that fund this campaign will have their names added to a credit sequence that will play before the final movie at the festival and in a thank you post on the official Tattoo Arts Film Festival Facebook page and Twitter profile alike.

Businesses/organizations that fund this campaign with more than $200 will be eligible for a Sponsorship Package that will include a sponsorship tag inclusion of their Logo in all final poster artwork and on the official Tattoo Arts Film Festival website that is currently being created, as well as an on-screen slide Advertisement to play before one of the festival’s Feature Films.
