A car burst into flames in Haverhill town centre on Sunday (March 15).
A single fire engine from Haverhill was mobilised to multiple reports of a car on fire in the car park close to the fire station in Brook Service Road, Haverhill.
Firefighters arrived to find a well developed car fire and used two sets of breathing apparatus and two foam hose reels to bring the fire under control.
The environment Agency was informed regarding the use of foam for the protection of the local environment and wildlife.
The fire engine had returned to its base by 3.30pm.
