A-level students breathed a sigh of relief as they picked up their results last Thursday (August 13).

This year’s results showed that 92% of courses were passed at grades A*-E with 76% of grades at grades A* to C. On average, students achieved results equivalent to three C grades at A2 level.

Vanessa Whitcombe, Head of School, said “We are all extremely proud of our students and their achievements, both academically and in the various ways in which they support our community.

“Our staff and parents have worked tirelessly with students to ensure they have the drive to get the best possible results and I would like to thank them for their continuous hard work.

“We would like to wish students heading to university, further study or in to work the very best and look forward to seeing them again soon.”
