Chris needs gardening volunteers for St Nicholas Hospice Care
Volunteers are needed to help smarten up the flowerbeds in front of St Nicholas Hospice Care.
The project is a continuation of Chris Wiley’s renovation of the Bury St Edmunds hospice’s rear gardens in memory of his grandfathjer John Wiley who was cared for there.
Chris, 20, who trained at Chelsea Gold winners Harvey’s Garden Plants and now works for the Ipswich seed and plant company Thompson & Morgan, did the work last year with the help of an army of volunteers and donations of plants, obelisks and soil improvers from local companies.
If you want to help with the front gardens, contact him on 07544 762448 for work parties on the third Sunday of each month.
