Crown court date set after alleged arson in Haverhill

A man accused of deliberately starting a fire at a house in Haverhill has been remanded in custody and committed to appear at crown court.

Pawel Rozanksi, 38, is charged with arson with intent/reckless as to whether life was endangered, assault by beating and threatening a person with a blade in a public place after an incident at a house in The Keep on Monday, March 9.

Rozanski appeared before magistrates in Bury St Edmunds on March 11 where he was remanded in custody and his case adjourned to a hearing at Ipswich Crown Court on March 24.
