Linton dance school puts on a show to celebrate its second anniversary

About 350 people, dancers included attended the a second anniversary show of the Linton-based Amy-Leigh Academy of Dance at the Quay Mill and Spa in Stow-cum-Quay.

It saw the competition team congratulated on its exam awards and the academy's annual award winners announced for 2018. Olivia Mannion was the 2-5-years Princess of the Year, Isabella Hutton won the 5-9-years Star of the Year and Lexi Lawless the nine years and over Dancer of the Year.

The academy is now looking for local sponsorship for its annual and Christmas shows and its competition team.

Academy founder Amy-Leigh Sellers, a fully qualified ISTD disco-freestyle teacher, said: "Local community help is what keeps dance schools like us thriving. It helps the students education and experience throughout their time with us."
