Clare golf course reopens after seven-week coronavirus closure




The owner of Clare Park Lake Golf Course said she was 'thrilled' to see her first members tee off today after the Government allowed golf to resume following a seven-week break due to the coronavirus lockdown.

Reacting to the reopening of the nine-hole course in Stoke Road, Susan Moore said: "Yes really thrilled.

"The phone is ringing like crazy as people are so keen to get out and play.

"Obviously strict measures are in place but that won’t stop the smiles."
