Details revealed for Haverhill Echo archive photo

Isobel Orriss saw this photo in the Echoes of the Past on March 10 and got in touch to tell us it was taken outside the Royal British Legion Hall in Kedington on Sunday, May 6, 2001.

Philip ‘Pip’ Grainge (left, who sadly died some years ago), his son Matthew and her husband, Chris Orriss visited 37 war memorials in one day, cycling 88 miles, to raise money for the Poppy Appeal.

The challenge was orgaised by Pip, who along with Matthew and Chris was a member of the Haverhill Wheelers.
