Haverhill 41 Club/Round Table Family's Santa sleigh tour of Haverhill and neighbouring villages pays handsome dividends




The Haverhill 41 Club/Round Table Family presented cheques to six charities from the proceeds of the Santa's Sleigh collections made in the build up to Christmas

The photo shows Haverhill 41 Club Chairman Peter Greig presenting a cheque for £300 to Keith Jesson, of the Haverhill, Kedington & Hundon Community First Responders.

Cheques totalling £1,550 were also presented to Petals; Kedington Air Memorial Group; Haverhill Rovers Under 12’s Black; Friends of Place Farm; Haverhill & Kedington Scouts & Guides Group

Further cheque presentations from the sleigh collections, which totalled more than £5,000, will be made this year.

Ian Mackenzie, from the Haverhill 41 Club/Round Table Family, said: "On behalf of all the Haverhill 41 Club members and The Round Table Family we thank the people of Haverhill & District for the wonderful amount of money kindly given at our sleigh collections."
