IDENTICAL TWINS PASS TEST WITH IDENTICAL MARKS

Identical twins, Adam and Scott Barker, from Sawston, were used to getting double takes as they walked down the street.

But the pair had to do a double take of their own when they both passed their driving test with identical marks.

The 17-year-olds from Broadmeadow, doth signed up for driving lessons with Sawston instructor, John Irvine, and each had 17 hours of lessons with him.

Scott said: “We both had the same test instructor and the chances of that are small.”

INTREPID CARL IS AIMING HIGH FOR THE TSUNAMI APPEAL

A Haverhill man who had previously raised funds for the Great Britain women’s basketball team invented his own challenge to raise funds for victims of the Asian tsunami disaster.

Carl Mynott aims to climb an impressive 36 peaks in the Lake District, a total height of 30,000 ft, just over the height of Mount Everest.

Carl estimated the trip would take six days.
