MARATHON MUM, KIM, HEADS FOR A LUCKY 13

Fitness consultant, Kim Moss, from Haverhill, reckoned 13 was going to be her lucky number.

The upcoming London Marathon would be the 13th marathon she had participated in.

Kim, who worked at Haverhill leisure centre, had already run the London Marathon eight times. She also planned to take part in another race in Prague in May.

Kim hoped to raise money for charity Children with Leukaemia.

WORK UNDERWAY TO ENSURE SURVIVAL OF LEGION HALL

Work got underway on the Royal British Legion Hall in Kedington.

The £30,000 renovation and extension project was partly funded by grants from groups including Awards for All, Kedington councillor Les Warmington’s locality budget, Kedington parish council and the Royal British Legion head office.

Another £5,000 was pledged by St Edmundsbury Borough Council.

The work was met with overwhelming support .
