Haverhill Library is part of an exciting reading project involving Norfolk and Cambridgeshire library services and The Writers’ Centre in Norwich.

The library is taking part in the Summer Reads programme which features eight selected books and a range of events and activities to get people interested and involved in exploring a reading adventure.

Summer Reads is in its fifth year but this is the first time Suffolk has been involved. The project is all about exploring books and trying something completely out of your comfort zone.

It’s also about discovering amazing new books, stories, writers and reading experiences.

The eight books have been chosen by a readers’ circle and there is something to tempt everyone – crime, short stories, poetry, romance, great characters, exciting plots and big ideas! You can read more information about the booklist, events and authors at www.summerreads.org.uk
