Haverhill construction group continues to trade and has not folded, says director

Media reports that a Haverhill construction company has gone into liquidation with £10m debts and the loss of more than 80 jobs have been refuted by one of the firm's directors.

It has been reported that the CVR Global Group in London has been appointed as joint liquidators to wind up the Radford Group, which had its offices in Homefield Road.

The Echo has this morning spoken to one of the directors of the Radford Group and he said: "Although Radford Group Limited has entered liquidation the overall group of companies remains trading and continues to employ in excess of 80 staff.

"A large proportion of the reported £10million debt is actually owed back to other parts of the Radford Group of companies."

The company has closed its offices in Haverhill, but it has relocated to central Cambridge.
