Family fun with Dizzy Ducks in Haverhill

Families joined the Dizzy Ducks Day Nursery in Haverhill for a day of free family fun last Saturday.

A fun-filled day included arts and crafts by Creation Station, messy play and of course the highlight of the day was a fantastic opportunity to meet Peter Rabbit.

The children were also treated to animal encounters with Peter’s real furry friends: squirrels, rabbits, hedgehogs and meerkats, courtesy of Animal Workshops Mobile Zoo.

Nursery manager Vicky Moody said: “We are so delighted that so many families could join us. The parents and children all commented on how much fun they were having with us.

“Today is about thanking the Haverhill community for their support and giving the children an opportunity to meet their TV favourite.”

Dizzy Ducks Day Nursery has been shortlisted for best training and development programme in the UK at Nursery Management Today Awards on November 26.

Nursery staff were praised by Ofsted last year, when they were awarded ‘Good’ at their inspection.

Ofsted said: “Members of staff act as good role models, helping children to learn about respecting each other, being kind and collaborating together in their play.”
