One van broken into and attempts made on three others in Haverhill as power tools are targeted

One vehicle was broken into and a power tool stolen and attempts were made to steal tools from three other vehicles on one night in Haverhill.

On Tuesday, November 20 between 6pm and 7pm entry was gained to a van parked in a communal car park in Cambridge Way.

A side sliding door frame was damaged to gain entry. A Bosch power drill was removed. (ref 37-67288)

Entry to another van in Cambridge Way was also attempted. Damage was caused, but no entry was gained (CAD 372).

An attempt to gain entry to a van in Cramswell Close at around 7.47pm was disturbed by a member of public shouting at the offenders. Three males were seen running away. (CAD 364).

At about 8pm the owner of a van in Nayland Road was alerted by its alarm being activated.

The side door had been partially opened, but it had been padlocked from the inside. Nothing was stolen (CAD 374).
