A Great Shelford solicitors is lending its support to a charity for the disabled and the elderly by offering a Will-writing service during a special fundraising fortnight.

Solicitors from Davies in Woollards Lane will be supporting the Papworth Trust during the ‘Where There’s a Will, There’s a Way’ campaign aimed at ensuring more people have a Will.

It will be offering the public the chance to have their Will written in exchange for a donation to the charity between April 11 and 22.

Richard Davies, from the solicitors, said: “We are delighted to be teaming up with a worthwhile and local charity to offer this important service.”

The suggested donation is £95 for a single basic Will or £150 for a pair of basic mirror Wills with all proceeds going to the charity.

Gavin Chappell-Bates, the charity’s major donor and legacy fundraiser, said: “Following on from the success of our inaugural wills fortnight last year, we are delighted to once again offer this valuable service to our supporters.

“By making a donation, you will have a professionally written will while also making a real difference to the work we do.”
