Haverhill cadet promoted to highest rank in her company

Suffolk Army Cadet Shannon Elsden, of the Haverhill Detachment (pictured left) , has been promoted from the rank of Cadet Staff Sgt to Cadet Sgt Major, making her the highest ranked cadet in A Company, which has seven detachments, including Haverhill, and 150 cadets. She is also the cadet for the High Sheriff of Suffolk.

Major Rob Simpkin OC of “A” Company said: “Cadet CSM Elsden is a role model for our younger Cadets to aspire to, with what she has achieved.”
